In the ’90s, Michael Jordan won six NBA championships, and with each title, a sneaker icon was born. Sotheby’s has assembled those Air Jordans in what they call the Dynasty Collection for the most significant sports memorabilia auction to date. The selection includes the Air Jordan 6 from 1991, Air Jordan 7 from 1992, Air Jordan 8 from 1993, Air Jordan 11 from 1996, Air Jordan 12 from 1997, and Air Jordan 14 from 1998. Each pair was worn by His Airness during the Finals, and some feature his signature. The collection is slated to be sold during a private sale.
