Jeep is going back —all the way back — to its roots with a new Wrangler 4xe special edition. The Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 pays homage to the original Willys MB, the iconic military 4×4 that joined the service in 1941. Period-correct olive green paint with drab blue stencil decals coats the exterior and special-design 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 33-inch off-road tires. Inside, the 4xe sports tan Heritage cloth seats and a ’41 logo shifter medallion. The roof can be specified as a body-colored hardtop, a one-touch power roof, or a tan-colored soft top. Power comes from the standard 2.0-liter turbo four hybrid powertrain with a total of 375 horsepower. Jeep didn’t offer specific numbers, but the Willys ’41 will be a limited production model and is available to order now.
