The line between the 911 and the 718 gets increasingly blurry with the new 718 Spyder RS, the most powerful car in the 20-year history of the Boxer. The mid-engine 718 Spyder RS sports the subline naturally-aspirated flat-six from the 911 GT3, making 493 horsepower paired with the seven-speed PDK transmission — good for a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 191 MPH, with appropriate rubber. The Cayman GT4 RS lends the 718 Spyder RS much of its aero treatment, with a CFRP hood and NACA ducts that help funnel air to the brakes. Inside is an astounding lack of touchscreens and real gauges, with the requisite tachometer front and center. A Weissach Package with optional flyweight magnesium-alloy wheels and titanium exhaust is also available. The 718 Spyder RS arrives in Spring 2024.
