Ettore Bugatti’s beloved horse was named Brouillard. For the inaugural creation of the brand’s new Programme Solitaire, they’ve created a one-off named in his honor. Powered by a 1,578-horsepower, quad-turbocharged W16 engine, it combines the beauty, speed, and power the horse was known for. The upper portion of the car is a grassy green, while the lower third is dark, to visually connect with its shadow. Typical Bugatti aero flourishes abound, while the interior sports custom-woven fabrics from Paris, green-tinted carbon fiber, a glass roof, and a gear shifter machined from a single block of aluminum with a glass insert containing a miniature hand-crafted horse sculpture. The car will make its debut during Monterey Car Week; the Programme Solitaire will continue, making a maximum of two cars per year.
