1977 International Harvester Scout II Traveler Restomod

The best project cars are the ones someone else has finished. This 1977 Scout II was bought as an unfinished project before being completed by the current owner — and it’s quite a completion. A Chevrolet 350 V8 with FiTech fuel injection replaces the original motor, backed by a three-speed automatic with Dana axles front and rear. The truck is painted dark red with matte black rallye graphics, and the interior is trimmed in saddle leatherette with red plaid inserts and swiveling captain’s chairs at the front. A custom stereo, four-inch lift, and steel wheels make this a build that has perfect in-period style. The truck is currently up for auction on Bring A Trailer.
