The new Porsche Macan T is a sharper-handling variant of the base-engine Macan. It slots between the entry-level model and the Macan S in the lineup.

Porsche says the Macan T can sprint to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds. But we previously tested another Macan with this same engine and got a 60-mph time of 5.0 seconds, and we’d expect the same here.

The Macan T also comes standard with several of the model’s available chassis-enhancement features, including the Sport Chrono Package, launch control, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).

The interior features Soft-Tex synthetic seat inserts and a microsuede-wrapped steering wheel.
