The upcoming Lotus Evija appears set to upend the current hypercar establishment when it goes on sale later this year targeting almost 2000 electric horsepower. While we have yet to experience the full capability of the production model, we were granted a drive in a prototype—detuned to about 1600 ponies and lacking a number of more advanced chassis systems—which confirmed that this will surely be one of the quickest road cars ever produced.
