Triumph TR25 Concept EV | Uncrate

London-based automotive design firm Makkina turns 25 this year. Triumph Motor Company set a land speed record for sub-2.0L cars around 70 years ago. Put the two together and you get the Triumph TR25 concept. Based on the record-setting TR2 MVC575, it has similarly sleek, yet modernized bodywork, with a single driver’s seat (there’s an optional flip-out seat for a passenger if needed), LED headlights that mimic the original’s with their frame, and a mouth-like air intake. Since BMW still holds the rights to the Triumph brand, the TR25 is based on the BMW i3S, and as such is all-electric and has a weight distribution of 50:50 and a low center of gravity.
