Bentley Speed Six Car Zero

Bentley’s Speed Six continuation made its debut at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed with Car Zero, the engineering development car for the program. The second in Bentley’s prewar Continuation Series, each of the 12 Speed Sixes will be hand-assembled by the Mulliner division, using original drawings and notes from Bentley’s archive, and the original 1930 ‘Old Number 3’ 24 Hours of Le Mans race car. The Speed Six is powered by a supercharged 6.5-liter inline-six making 205 horsepower, a figure within 5 horsepower of the 1929 and 1930 Le Mans-spec racers. Bentley visited the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, Hampshire to select 5 period-correct Parsons colors for the continuation series, with the first car finished in Parsons Green with a tan leather interior. The first of 12 customer cars will begin construction in October, with deliveries being completed in 2025.
