David Rockefeller’s NYC Townhouse | Uncrate, #David #Rockefellers #NYC #Townhouse #Uncrate

For 70 years, David Rockefeller lived at 146 East 65th Street in Lenox Hill. The sprawling Manhattan mansion was bought by Doug and Lily Band, who gave the 100-year-old home a four-year renovation. Its 12,500-square-foot interior now boasts eight bedrooms and over ten bathrooms. The garden level was dug out to accommodate 10-foot ceilings and features a chef’s kitchen, den, pantry, and laundry room. A dumbwaiter connects to an additional kitchen and attached dining room on the first floor. A living room on the parlor floor maintains its original knotted wood paneling and neighbors a golf simulator, while a basketball court is on the fourth floor. The four-story residence also offers 3,500 square feet of outdoor space, including an English garden, multiple terraces, and a rooftop deck.
