iPhone 13 to Feature Smaller Notch, Larger Batteries, 120Hz Refresh Rate on Pro Models [Report]
The iPhone 13 will feature a smaller notch, larger batteries, and a 120Hz refresh rate on Pro models, according to a new report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
All four iPhone 13 models are expected to get larger batteries. To make this possible, the company has made some space saving design choices, reduced the thickness of some Face ID components, and integrated the SIM card slot with the motherboard.
Although Kuo previously predicted at least one portless iPhone model this year, he now says all four models will have Lightning ports, sensor-shift image stabilization, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X60 modem.
As widely rumored, Apple will likely introduce low-power LTPO display technology for a 120Hz refresh rate on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
