Porsche 75th Anniversary Race Car Collection

Racing has been at the heart of Porsche since its inception. For Porsche’s 75th anniversary, Bring a Trailer member Wob has put together a collection of Porsche race cars spanning 36 years, from 1976 to 2012. The 75th Anniversary Race Car Collection consists of nine cars, with wins in races like Le Mans, Daytona, and Sebring. The cars have been driven by the likes of Derek Bell, Hurley Haywood, Jörg Bergmeister, Kevin Estre, and Patrick Long. Topping the collection is a 935/84 that finished third at the Daytona Three-Hour Finale with Derek Bell behind the wheel and is vintage racing ready. While not an in-period race car, rallying is represented by a 911SC built by EVO Motorsport in Italy as a tribute to the car that ran in the 1982 Rallye Monte Carlo. Modern offerings are represented by a 993-generation 911 that finished fourth overall at Le Mans, and a pair of 911GT3 RSR race cars that ran in the American Le Mans series between 2010 and 2012. The collection is currently up for auction on Bring a Trailer.
