For over a century, humans have been pushing the limits of motorized vehicles with long-distance journeys. Petersen Automotive Museum is honoring those magnificent machines with the ADV:Overland Exhibition. Spanning from 1903 to 2020, the event looks back at the long history of these cross-country overland adventures and the motorcycles and vehicles that made the trips possible. The exhibit isn’t limited to just Earthly expeditions. It’ll also include rides from space odysseys ranging from the sci-fi variety and NASA’s models of actual Mars rovers. The exhibition will take place from July 15, 2021, to March 22, 2022, and tickets are on sale now.
