Orange Aston Martin Collection | Uncrate

Orange isn’t exactly the first color that comes to mind when Aston Martin is the subject. Aston Martin received an unusual order in 2010 — one customer wanted Aston Martin’s entire road-going lineup built to Swiss specifications, in tangerine orange. Eight cars make up the collection: the DBS Volante, DBS Coupe, DB9 Volante, DB9 Coupe, V12 Vantage, V8 Vantage Volante, V8 Vantage Coupe, and the four-door Rapide sedan. Mileage ranges from 70 to 250, with the entire collection barely being driven since they delivered. Bonhams expects hammer prices of $42,000 to $128,000 for the lot, with the DBS Volante and Coupe getting the highest valuations. The auction takes place Sunday, October 8, in Le Zoute, Belgium.
