Based on a double cab model of the Navara pickup, the Nissan Navara Enguard Rescue Truck Concept is designed to help rescue missions in the toughest terrain. It marks the world debut of a new portable battery pack Nissan created using the same technology as the Leaf EV. Two of the packs are in the truck, constantly charging using power from the 2.3L twin-turbo diesel engine and offering the ability to power everything from lights to specialized equipment without the restrictions of a gas-powered generator. It also offers two in-bed storage trays, more ground clearance than the consumer model, and a supplied DJI Phantom 4 to stream video back to a pop-up screen in the bed, helping searchers know which way to head.
