New iPhone and Apple Watch Models Predicted to Get Significantly Better Battery Life, Other Improvements

New rumors ahead of Apple’s September 14 special event have the next generation iPhone and Apple Watch getting significantly improvements in battery life.

Leaker Max Weinbach shared the following predictions on Twitter today…

● iPhone Pro Max models to get an 18-20% larger battery
● 6.1-inch iPhone models to use same battery with increase in capacity of ~10%. Pro might perform slightly worse due to 120Hz display
● iPhone mini to offer an additional ~1 hour of battery life
● Apple Watch Series 7 to see its first real battery life improvement
● Overall device weight and thickness of iPhones will increase, most noticeable on Pro Max
● Price hikes not expected
● Pro models to throttle to a 60hz refresh rate when Low Power Mode is enabled
● All camera sensors receive at least 15% more light with Ultra Wide getting up to 40% more light.

● Night mode gets new algorithm, now recognizes stars
● AirPods 3 to get 20% larger battery, wireless charging, better bass
