New ‘iPhone 13 Pro’ Models to Get Ultra-Wide Camera With Autofocus [Report]

Apple’s next ‘iPhone 13 Pro’ and ‘iPhone 13 Pro Max’ models will feature an upgraded ultra-wide camera with autofocus, according to a new report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The current iPhone 12 models have a fixed focus lens.

The autofocus lens should help the next generation models deliver crisper and sharper images, no matter the distance the subject is a from the lens. Additionally, Kuo has previously said that ‘iPhone 13’ will also get low-light performance improvements.

The autofocus ultra-wide camera will only be available to high-end models this year but Kuo says Apple could expand it to all models next year.
