McLaren has released a complete line of electric mountain bikes with performance to match their supercars. Designed by the McLaren automotive team, the line comes in 600-watt or 250-watt Extreme and Sport models, with the 600-watt motor delivering 852 watts of peak power and 118 lb-ft of torque — making it the most powerful street-legal e-bike on the market. Both the Extreme and Sport have hand-laid carbon fiber frames. Extreme models come with an SRAM wireless XX Eagle Transmission 12-speed drivetrain, with Sport getting a mechanical SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed unit. A full-color display features graphics inspired McLaren’s cars, giving information like battery life, range, and speed.
