Maserati showcased its new Fuoriserie customization program at the most appropriate event imaginable — the 2023 Milan Design Week. Maserati displayed two examples of what the Fuoriserie program is capable of, both based on the GranToursimo sports car. The most radical example wraps the all-electric GranTourismo Folgore in a totally chrome finish with a dynamic laser-etched pattern. The upholstery of the Luce is made from the recycled nylon yarn Econyl in a white-to-blue fade with the Maserati trident embroidered on the headrests. The Prisma takes the Nettuno V6-powered GranToursimo and covers it with a hand-painted 14-color livery that draws inspiration from past GranTourismos like the 1947 Maserati A6 1.500 and the 1973 Khamsin. Maserati’s partnership with Japanese brand Fragment yielded the Ouroboros, a sinister all-black digital GranTourismo by designer Hiroshi Fujiwara. The Fuoriserie program is available on every model in Maserati’s lineup.
