Jaguar Classic E-Type ZP Collection

Jaguar’s heart was always on the track. Just a few months after the debut of the E-Type in 1961, two slightly modified cars driven by Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori would claim the model’s first racing wins. Taking inspiration from the Indigo Blue convertible driven by Hill and the Crystal Grey coupe driven by Salavdori, Jaguar Classic is releasing seven restored pairs of E-Types marking the victories. The restorations use 265-horsepower 3.8-liter Series I E-Types built from 1961 to 1964. The original cars are exactingly recreated, with details like beechwood steering wheels, welded hood louvers, and external hood latches with key locks. ZP logos, from the original’s “ZP” registration number, are found on the fuel cap and car and roof covers. Each vehicle also comes with a reproduction Everoak racing helmet made by Bill Vero, who has been crafting them since the 1950s.
