iPhone 13 to Launch Third Week of September With 1TB Storage Option [Report]
Apple is planning to launch its next generation iPhone 13 in the third week of September, according to Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives.
Here’s what the analyst said in an investor note seen by MacRumors:
Our recent Asia supply chain checks for 2H put iPhone builds between 130M-150M. The iPhone 13 appears to represent 35%-45% of iPhone builds in Q3, this positive outlook gives us enhanced confidence that 2021’s launch timing will be “normal”. From a timing perspective, we believe the current iPhone 13 launch is slated for the third week in September.
Additionally, Ives says that the iPhone 13 will include 1TB storage options and reports that all models will have LiDAR sensors.
Previous reports have the iPhone 13 featuring a redesigned camera assembly and a smaller notch with the earpiece moved up into the bezel. Check out this video for a closer look at the design.
The ‘iPhone 13 Pro’ and ‘iPhone 13 Pro Max’ models will allegedly feature an upgraded ultra-wide camera with autofocus and updated OLED displays with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
