REC TTT Great Escape Watch

REC is adding motorcycles to the mix with the TTT collection. For its first two-wheeled timepiece, the watchmakers are reimagining cinema’s most iconic bike into an equally iconic timepiece. The TTT Great Escape features a dial forged from the original clutch plates and connecting rods from the 1962 Triumph TR6 Trophy Steve McQueen rode in The Great Escape. The parts were replaced by private collector Dick Shepherd during restoration and given to REC for this limited-edition piece. Other nods to the legendary motorcycle include a dark-green color scheme and the bike’s movie license plate at 5 o’clock. A dual inner and outer case construction allows wears to switch from Dress to Ride mode, turning the 12 o’clock marker 30 degrees clockwise to center it in the rider’s field of vision. The moto-inspired timepiece is limited to just 393 pieces.
