Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato Coupe

Italian design house Zagato celebrated 100 years of collaborating with Alfa Romeo with a one-off Giulia that went to a lucky German collector. Based on a shortened version of the Giorgio platform that underpins the current Giulia, Zagato created a long hood/short-deck design that perfectly captures the essence of Alfa’s history. The front is dominated by large air intakes — including the famous Alfa grille — fitted to a clamshell hood. The twin-bubble roof is left unpainted, with a thin light bar that traces the outline of the rear. Power comes from the 540 horsepower, 2.9-liter GTAm-spec V6, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The interior is carried over from the Giulia, with green accents that match the carbon fiber exterior. This coachbuilt Alfa joins a massive collection of current and vintage Alfa cars, along with a selection of Zagato-bodied Aston Martins.
