From the power-hungry servers needed for cloud services to the minerals mined to build hardware, the gaming industry isn’t known for sustainability. Xbox is taking a step in that direction with the Remix Special Edition Controller. A third of the controller is made with a mix of reclaimed materials and regrind (ground plastic) made from Xbox One-era parts. Mixed with virgin plastic, it gives each controller unique variations, swirling, and texturing. As a nod to its eco-friendly nature, the controller sports an earth-tone palette, with a topographic texture on the bumpers, triggers, and grips. Compatible with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Windows 10/11, Android, and iOS.
