Dianjiang BaguĀ·Suji Hotel | Uncrate
Organized around a rice patty field 800 meters above sea level, the Dianjiang BaguĀ·Suji Hotel offers guests a unique stay with unparalleled views. The property consists of a cluster of buildings situated in a U-shape, preserving the natural paddy field while maximizing the views. Its 25 rooms are contained in calming, minimal structures and feature floor-to-ceiling glazing and outdoor terraces that connect guests to the ancient landscape. A lighted path leads to the swimming pool and book bar. References the vernacular architecture, the library and water bar are housed beneath a large, sloping roof that directs the focus to the paddy field. The neighboring infinity pool replaces an existing fish pond and immerses guests in the smell of rice, creating the illusions of swimming in the field.
