ChargerLab has posted a video teardown of Apple’s new 140W USB-C GaN Power Adapter that ships with the new M1 Max 16-inch MacBook Pro. It’s the first Apple charger that uses gallium nitride (GaN).

This is the brand new MacBook Pro 16 inch 140W fast charger, which is designed based on GaN technology. There is also a customized USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable.
