Cadillac Celestiq Electric Sedan | Uncrate

Cadillac is taking its ambition to return to the standard of the world seriously with the Celestiq ultra-luxury sedan. Unveiled in its production-ready form, the Celestiq will be hand-built in Warren, Michigan, along with 3D-printed components and underpinned by GM’s Ultium electric platform. The Celestiq will make 600 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque, driving all four wheels via dual motors. Range is estimated at 300 miles. Adaptive air suspension, rear-wheel steering, and Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 will be standard, giving the Celestiq handling that belies its size. The production Celestiq is nearly identical to the concept car, with classic proportions and long, low lines that evoke Cadillac’s cars of the ’30s and ’50s. The interior is tech-heavy, with an industry-first smart glass roof that can clear or darken at the touch of a button, along with ambient and choreographed lighting that changes and interplays with the glass roof. Expect plenty of automated and autonomous driving features as well. The Celestiq will enter production at the end of 2023.
