Here’s a look at the substantially larger battery sizes for the new iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
These battery sizes were provided by Apple to Chemtrec to facilitate shipments when a carrier requires MSDS/SDS.
● iPhone 13 mini – 9.34Wh (Up 9% from iPhone 12 mini at 8.57Wh)
● iPhone 13 – 12.41Wh (Up 15.1% from iPhone 12 at 10.78Wh)
● iPhone 13 Pro – 11.97Wh (Up 11% from iPhone 12 Pro at 10.78Wh)
● iPhone 13 Pro Max – 16.75Wh (Up 18.5% from iPhone 12 Pro Max at 14.13Wh)
The additional battery capacity plus improvements to power efficiency should help the next generation iPhone see a notably boost in battery life. Pre-orders for the new iPhone 13 went live today and deliveries start September 24th.
