1975 Lamborghini Countach LP400 Periscopio Coupe

RM Sotheby’s will be auctioning the massive Guikas collection in France, comprised of some of the most sought-after sports cars from Ferrari, Porsche, and Alfa Romeo to full-on racing prototypes that ran at Le Mans. One of the jewels of the collection is this 1975 Lamborghini Coutach LP400 coupe, an early example of just 157 “Periscopio” models made. Finished in black over a black and light grey interior, this LP400 features a channel cut into the roof to allow for a functional rearview mirror — a concession made to Marcello Gandini’s timeless shape. In immaculate, all-original condition, this Countach will cross the auction block in November.
