One of only 455 ever made and even fewer imported into the US, this 1981 BMW M1 would make a proud flagship of any Bimmer collection. It’s powered by a 3,453 cc, 280 hp six-cylinder, good for a top speed of over 160 mph. This particular example was held by a dealership until 1984, before being sold to a Japanese car museum. It was meticulously cared for over the following decades, and arrives at auction in highly original condition, with just under 8,000 miles on the odometer.
