Rally cars are known for their robust, durable nature. Inspired by Extreme E’s second-season finale held in Punta del Este, Uruguay, so is Zenith’s Extreme E Energy X Prix timepiece. Its 45mm carbon fiber and titanium case is both waterproof and crushproof, housing an El Primero chronograph movement that measures down to 1/100th of a second. The dial is tinted sapphire with black counters and purple accents, the latter of which are inspired by lightning strikes in a stormy sky and match the rubber strap made with upcycled tires used in the first season’s races. Limited to just 20 examples worldwide.
