Elon Musk is polarizing. That’s as good a word as any, we suppose. People love him. People hate him. People mostly know him through his Twitter account, where he gives people plenty of reason to feel however they feel.
From his perch in the Twitterverse, he drops news about Tesla (sometimes to the bewilderment of the now-disbanded press team) and SpaceX. He also says a lot of other … stuff. Some of it’s odd, some of it’s wildly wrong and wrong-minded. Some of his tweets have been turned into a coloring book.
There are plenty of good ways to tally up a year as complicated and difficult as 2020. But you could also try to filter it through the lens of Musk’s Twitter account. It won’t make things any weirder. Probably.
So, let’s revisit year 2020 via the tweets of Elon Musk, with a soundtrack by Elon Musk, if that’s your thing:

Since we compiled this list for January’s issue, Musk has tweeted more. More of all the things he tweets, including some words in response to the news that an Apple car may still happen, and few other words that that sounded like gratitude. Should you need more Elon tweets, you know where to find them.
