We’ve seen STI-branded models in the states before, but never like this. Created to showcase the engineering and tuning prowess of Subaru Tecnica International, the Subaru STI Performance Concept offers a glimpse at the future of tuned Subarus in the US. It’s powered by a racing engine developed by STI for the BRZ Super GT racecar, and also boasts suspension, chassis, and aerodynamic upgrades. While you’ll like soon be able to buy those parts piecemeal in the near future, we’re just waiting for it to culminate in something we can drive off the dealer’s lot and directly to the track.
