The James Bond film franchise is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2023, and Christie’s is having an event that touches on the entire history of the world’s most famous spy. The crown jewel in the collection is a replica DB5 stunt car that starred in the latest entry and Daniel Craig’s last turn as 007, No Time To Die. The car is one of eight made for the film, and the only one to be released for public sale by Aston Martin and EON Productions. The vehicle retains its prop Gatling guns behind the headlights, a 3.2-liter inline-six, carbon fiber bodywork, and a custom suspension designed specifically for the car by Aston Martin. A slew of other cars are being auctioned as well: An 1981 Aston Martin V8 featured in the film, a 007 Special Edition Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, a prototype Land Rover New Defender, Land Rover Sport SVR stunt SUV, Jaguar XF stunt car, and a Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE. Add to the four-wheeled items a collection of bowties worn by Daniel Craig, a 007 Edition Omega Seamaster Diver watch, and Spectre Agent Primo’s bionic eyeball, and you have a 007 memorabilia event for the ages.
