Charles Rolls’ family yacht, the Santa Maria, was one of the earliest signals that Rolls-Royce and the nautical world would share a long and overlapping clientele. The Cullinan Yachting explores that connection with four Private Commissions, each defined by a cardinal point of the compass: North, South, East, and West. And each dressed in a unique paint scheme: Crystal over Light Blue, Crystal over Arabian Blue, Dark Silk Teal, and Sapphire Gunmetal. All of them feature twin Phoenix Red and Arctic White coachlines running along the side, and sit on 22-inch fully polished alloy wheels that echo the mirror-bright brightwork found on racing yachts. Inside, a hand-painted fascia takes its cue from the wake of a tender at speed, while the rear Waterfall features a compass motif assembled by hand from more than 40 individual pieces of veneer. The Starlight Headliner maps the prevailing winds of the Mediterranean Sea in fiber-optic light. Under the hood, the 5.7-liter V-12 produces 563 hp, enough to carry the SUV from zero to 60 in under five seconds. Four cars. Four directions. One source of nautical inspiration.
