Porsche’s anniversary celebration isn’t limited to Europe and North America. Porsche Latin America is releasing two special models marking the 70th anniversary of participation in the Carrera Panamerica, and the 60th anniversary of Jack Heuer’s chronograph wristwatch for racing drivers, called the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph. Porsche and TAG Heuer have a long relationship in racing, and the two 718 Cayman GT4 RS-based models prominently feature TAG Heuer branding. Each car is painted on the doors and roofs with numbers 152 and 154 in a yellow negative relief over Le Mans Silver Metallic. The TAG Heuer logo is reproduced in a slightly darker grey on the hood and spoiler endplates. The red pegasus logo references the former emblem of Mobil, one of Prosche’s first sponsors. The interior sports Guards Red leather seats and the tricolor cross-stitching of the Mexican flag. In the number 154 car is a TAG Heuer stopwatch module in the center console, a one-off made specifically for the car and is unavailable for sale. Both cars are one-off creations for Porsche’s Sonderwunsch specialty program.
