Petitjean Ferrari Collection | Uncrate

Former racing driver and businessman Marcel Petitjean began amassing his car collection in the 1960s, not just as a lover of automobiles, but as a long-term investment. That thinking paid off at the first auction of his cars in June 2020. Now, the last 28 are going — every one a Ferrari. The Petitjean “Part II” sale includes three decades of road-going examples of the Prancing Horse. Highlights of the collection include a 1973 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 1966 275 GTB 4, and the star of the show, a 1985 288 GTO — the second car to wear the legendary GTO badge after the legendary 250 GTO, and one of only 272 made. Other highlights include a static display 1996 F310 F1 and Harrington Daytona Junior kids’ car. The auction begins February 2, 2022.
