McLaren’s 720S GT3 is built to race in sanctioned racing series around the world under restrictive rules. Now McLaren is offering the 720S GT3 in a completely unleashed track-only version, the 720S GT3X. The twin-turbo V8 makes 197 more horsepower than the GT3, with an additional 30 horsepower available with the new push-to-pass system. Over 440 pounds have been stripped from the chassis — goodbye air conditioning and stereo — for a curb weight of just 2,668 pounds. Two FIA-approved racing seats are fixed to the carbon fiber Monocell II structure, while the pedals and steering wheel adjust to the driver. A full roll cage, aero package, and Pirelli racing slicks make the 720S GT3X one of the most hardcore track cars you can buy. Each is built-to-order through certain McLaren dealers worldwide.
