Maturo Stradale Rally Car More

Lancia returned to the World Rally Championship winner’s circle in 1991 with the Delta HF Integrale, the rally-prepped version of the Delta economy car. The Delta has become an ’80s icon, and Maturo is now offering a modernized version of the Italian classic. The Maturo Stradale starts by tearing a Delta completely down, stripping and sandblasting the unibody, and then adding a roll cage and 250 spot welds to strengthen the chassis. The two-liter four-cylinder engine and transmission get an even bigger overhaul, with forged internals and a larger turbo, for an output of around 380 horsepower — versus the WRC-prepped Delta’s 200. A fully adjustable suspension with electronic right height control, AP racing brakes, and carbon fiber body panels finish the build. Maturo plans a production run of just 10 cars.
