Electric cars are seeing rapid adoption, but questions remain about how to best support them and our aging electric grid. The Humble One sidesteps these concerns somewhat by adding solar panels to the mix. Between its roof, sidelites, passenger doors, and fold-out “wings”, it offers 80 square feet of solar panels, enough to add 10-60 miles in driving range per day depending on location. The four-passenger vehicle also claims a 500-mile range, with a maximum of 1,020 hp and a drag coefficient of just 0.25. The company is currently taking $300 reservations for 2025 deliveries.
