Nearly 50 years after first stepping into branded watches, Gucci is introducing a line of true luxury watches featuring proprietary calibres. Creative director Alessandro Michele designed the four new lines, with the 25H topping the range. The 25H is a luxury sports watch that takes its inspiration from architecture, seen in the brushed horizontal lines of the dial featuring the interlocking G logo. The 40mm diameter piece uses a three-tiered profile with a flat bezel and recessed crown, giving it a clean, modern look. The 25H is powered by Gucci’s first proprietary movements, a micro-rotor calibre GG727.25, developed and manufactured by Kering in Switzerland. Two versions are available: A traditional regulator or a tourbillon regulator that is visible in the dial, each with a 60-hour power reserve.
