It doesn’t run, it’s been wrecked, and it’s not really a Ferrari — but it starred in a classic scene from one of the best decades in film history, the 1980s. The 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off used three replica Ferrari 250 GT California cars built by Modena Design & Development. The one pictured here was the car used in the famous crash scene, where Cameron Frye finally stands up to his father by kicking the car — and it rolls through a floor-to-ceiling glass window and down a two-story drop into the woods. The car is in the same condition it was in when towed off the set — damaged and undrivable. While it won’t be winning the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, it makes one of the best pieces of movie memorabilia ever.
