FabMan Creations is the brainchild of Wayne Buys, a millwright by training. Based out of his garage in South Africa, Buys’ latest creation takes inspiration from aircraft and art deco streamline cars of the ’20s and ’30s, built on the BMW R nineT motorcycle. Named Storm, the bike features aluminum bodywork hand-formed on an English wheel. A system of hidden fasteners and clever panel lines give Storm an almost seamless look, while the fully-faired front wheel and scoops for the flat-twin emphasize the aircraft styling cues. Despite the radical look, the bike remains fully functional, with FabMan offering a kit version to convert your own R nineT.
