Performance car manufacturers like Porsche often make track-ready versions of their best models. So it goes for motorcycles. Ducati has released their latest track day toy, the Panigale V4 SP2. Powered by a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale MotoGP-derived engine, it makes 210 hp and 90.6 lb-ft of torque while weighing in at a svelte 370 lbs. The engine is also structural, with the aluminum swingarm and shell-cast aluminum seat post directly connected. Upgrades like carbon fiber rims, Brembo Stylema R brake calipers, and an Ohlins electronically-adjustable suspension round out the package.
