Bugatti’s rebirth began in 1991 with the cutting-edge EB 110. 30 years later, the re-reborn Bugatti is paying tribute to the EB 110 with the Centodieci, continuing Bugatti’s tradition of ultra-performance cars. The quad-turbo, 1,600 horsepower W16 returns as the powerplant, giving the lightened Centodieci a blistering 0-62 time of 2.4 seconds and a top speed of over 250 MPH. Bugatti’s designers walked a fine line between the Chiron and the EB 110, capturing the spirit of the original without taking away the character of the modern car. A slightly more angular overall shape is enhanced with round intakes in the B-pillar and redesigned headlights with horizontal strakes. At the rear is a thoroughly current LED array for the taillights, along with a diffuser and fixed rear wing. The development prototype will begin testing this spring, with 10 productions units scheduled to start rolling off the line when testing is complete.
