Brightline is moving west. Brightline currently operates a high-speed electric rail service in Florida, connecting Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. Brightline West will connect Las Vegas and Southern California, with luxury lounge cars to make the 218-mile trip as pleasant as possible. At speeds of up 200 MPH, passengers that pay for the privilege will be able to order a drink in a lounge that’s nearly Star Trek in its design. Production of the Brightline West cars is scheduled to begin in 2026 at a Siemens Mobility plant under construction in New York.
