An all-new Google-designed Tensor chip will power the Pixel 6 smartphones. A piece of that chip, the TPU, can also be found in the 2021 Google Nest Camera Collection. This enables better, on-device detection of things like people, pets, cars, and packages, reducing false positives and unwanted notifications. The range includes the flagship, battery-powered Google Nest Cam, which can work indoors or out, the battery-powered Google Nest Doorbell, the Google Nest Cam with floodlight — a first for the company — and the base Google Nest Cam (wired), the company’s most affordable model. The battery-powered Nest Cam and Nest Doorbell are available for pre-order now, with the rest of the lineup arriving soon.
