In late ’80s, Pininfarina was approached by a client with a special request to build seven Ferrari Testarossa spiders. The cars are thought to have been created for the Brunei royal family, each in a different exterior and interior color combination. Each car was given a shortened VIN, with the example shown here wearing VIN EFG092. This Testarossa is thought to have spent its life on static display, with only 413 kilometers (256 miles) shown on the odometer. The car was brought to Pininfarina in 2021 for a full restoration that included repairing the top mechanism and repainting the exterior, along with an interior refresh. A full mechanical reconditioning was performed by Tailor Made and Icona cars — used by Ferrari itself — consisting of a full disassembly and repair of the engine and suspension. Only one other Testarossa Spider was built by Ferrari for Fiat head Gianni Agnelli, making this an ultra-rare example of one of the greatest supercars of all time.
