1965 Porsche 356 Emory Cabriolet

Rod Emory has been rebuilding Porsche 356s since the late ’80s, converting the classic cars into modern masterpieces. This 1965 356 Emory Special features modifications to the bodywork that separate it from standard Emory Outlaws. Originally a hardtop, this 356 was transformed into a cabriolet and comes with a black canvas top, inverted decklid louvers, increased windshield rake angle, and bumper delete. The car wears Tropical Green Metallic paint over a Vine Green Leather interior. Power comes from an Emory-Rothsport 2.6-liter flat-four with 911 internals in a custom-cast case with electronic fuel injection and a dry-sump lubrication system, backed by a Type 901 five-speed manual. PEP adjustable dampers and a 911-style rear suspension system combine with four-wheel disc brakes to give this 356 performance the original could only dream of.
