Nichols N1A Roadster | Uncrate, #Nichols #N1A #Roadster #Uncrate

Steve Nichols made his career in Formula One, designing the successful McLaren MP4/3 and the MP4/4, one of the most dominant race cars in history and the ride that gave racing legend Ayrton Senna his first of three World Championships. Nichols retired from F1 in 2002, but his urge to race didn’t. While he has kept busy in vintage racing over the years, Nichols has returned to design with the N1A, a sports car that draws its inspiration from the McLaren M1A of the 1960s. The NA1 uses a carbon fiber and aluminum chassis wrapped in a graphene-infused carbon fiber body that captures the sweeping curves of the M1A. A specially-built 650-horsepower mid-mounted LS3 V8 drives the rear wheels through a Graziano transmission, with a total weight of just 1,995 pounds. Nichols plans to make just 100 examples of the N1A, with a higher-spec Launch Edition of just 15 units.
